Still the King of Bling

I came of age in the era when computers were grey and boxy and cell phones were larger than the wireless phones kept in our homes, so I feel deeply appreciative of the aesthetic advancements of this civilization. Those brilliant developers and engineers certainly earn my respect for inevitably coming up with great little ways to make our life easier with some gizmo or another, but for doing it with style... well, now they not only have my attention, they have my respect.
Case in point, the lovely item pictured above produced by Swiss company Goldvish.
This phone is so decadent, so lovely, so utterly fabulous that there isn't a word among the four languages that I speak that can even come close to describing its exquisiteness. It's called "Le Million," and aptly so, as it is the most expensive cell phone ever sold. I've read about price tags that range from $1 million (that's dollars, not pesos, people) to about $1.5 million. And, what a deal, considering it's made of 18ct gold, encrusted with 1800 VVS1 diamonds which total 120 carats and there are only three of them in the world.
For the techies out there, I know this phone came out ages ago (translation: last year), but, my goodness, a year is hardly enough for the shock of it all to just casually wear off.
Goldvish has decidedly taken the "If you have to ask, you can't afford it, darling" attitude with Le Million on their corporate website. I can't seem to find any details regarding the actual operation of the phone. But, let's be real, given all the bling, it could be powered by a little hamster and it would still be the King of cell phone bling.
